Megan Orciari is the Communications Specialist at the Center for Dissemination and Implementation at Stanford where she creates and implements communications strategies and tactics to promote the Center’s D&I science to improve lives. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Roger Williams University. She has worked in the field of communications for over 15 years and has promoted complex research, programs, and advocacy efforts all centered around equity, particularly in health and public education. Prior to coming to Stanford, Megan served as the Communications Director at Partnership for a Healthier America where she worked on national campaigns to boost national food security, including the ‘Pass the Love’ campaign with former First Lady Michelle Obama. She has a strong interest in storytelling and digital media as a way to help create healthier people and places.
